Ok, i recently got this card, installed the drivers and went to install the 3dfx tools, it gets to the tweaks (advtweak.dll, color, infopage, tvout, feature) and i get "error 1904.module d:\program files\3dfx interactive\3dfx tools\tools\filename.dll (the ones i listed above..) failed to register. Hresult -2147418113. contact your personal support." and it won't install them, so i cannot adjust any of the things in the advanced display menu (fsaa, color, etc....) i'd like to be able to adjust them, since the only reason i got the v5 was for the visual quality from FSAA which i cannot access without the 3dfc tools.
i've looked around and a couple sites had ways to fix problenms with installing the 3dfx tools, but non of them worked... i'm out of ideas. i'm on windows 2000 Pro, SP2, and i've flashed the bios to 1.16. any suggestions? besides install windows 98 which i cannot do because it would not take advantage of my dual p2's and well, a single p2-266 would be slower than __it....
