I have a B&W logo with a company name I scanned in and I would like to change the color of the logo (to say...blue) is there a process I can use to do this without losing any quality?

Thanks.

There's probably a better way than this(such as a Find/Replace type action), but you could Add a Layer that is Blue and with the Visibility set low(so it can be easily seen through).

edit: That'll probably look kinda wonky though. If you just want one part Blue, you could either:

1) create new Layer then Polygon Select(if PaintShop has that or calls it that) around what you want Blue, then colour it Blue

2) Do a Select by colour, then copy/move that selection to a new Layer, and colour Blue.

Try this:

Select the portions of your logo you want to colorize

Go to Colors > Channel Mixer

Then play with the sliders and output channel until you get the color you want.

My PSP is version 8 and is at home right now, but this sounds like a job for ... what is it, Effects > Hue & Saturation or whatnot. Search in PSP's Help file for Hue if you don't see it on the menus. If necessary, use the Magic Wand selection tool to grab just the part that you want to change the hue of first.
