One of these "legacy free" jobs. Don't know what happened to system, but mouse works in safe mode, so not hardware related. Keyboard is USB also. I've removed all USB items in Device Manager in Safe Mode and reinstalled on reboot. A couple had green question marks until I "updated" driver with same driver per GW support. If I use MSConfig and run Diagnostic Startup, then video is screwed, but mouse works. Funny thing is, I'm suppose to get to decide what loads, step by step, but that doesn't happen. Also get Rundll32 causing error in Kernel32.dll when I try to access display icon in control panel. Have downloaded latest driver for 810E and loaded. Also restored Rundll32.exe via MSConfig. Tried different resolutions and color depths. Really stumped and don't want to reload WinME. What is going on?

Looks like System.INI file has been corrupted. Is there a way to restore/rebuild?

Thanks

Would someone be kind enough to post their system.ini from their Win ME system so I can gleen the needed parts? I have only Win98 and Win2K and they may be incompatible. Best case scenario would be someone with same or simlar hardware, especially USB Keyboard and Mouse.
Thanks
