hi guys, i am buying an new LED 22" monitor so need some assistance plz help me out.

i have two monitors on my mind
Dell ST2220L n LG E2240T

Which one will be an better choice as LG has 5000000:1 Constrast ratio n Dell 8000000:1 ?
but this LG monitor Has some F-engine chip inside which improves the color n contrast for multimedia but lacks the extra 3000000 contrast ratio thn dell.

LG has two advantages for me f-engine n the service center available in my town.
which one to pick ?

i am confused :( plz help.

You said you need help fast, so if memory serves me correctly, contrast ratio is a completely arbitrary number. A company can say they can divide color and shading into as many units as they want, and while it can give comparable results within a companys lineup, they are not directly comparable between companys.

I have seen reviews that have the "color gamut"??? coverage, which looks like a triangle over a rainbow teardrop where the triangle denotes how much of the visible spectrum can be displayed, but nobody displays those numbers to sell their products. The best way to tell is to check them out yourself, I believe best buy sells both of those companys products, so I would look at both of them in the harsh light at bestbuy with your own eyes and see which looks best to you.

right, if that number were authentic. Truth of the matter is it's all lies.

I ignore contrast ratio, and just look at the panel type, responsiveness.

Regardless, Dell's are a very good choice, so shouldn't regret it. My 2407 S-PVA is still going strong 4 years later.
