hi all. as of last night my PC will no longer boot up correctly and after the windows logo loads goes to a blank screen as my monitor power light goes orange and says "no input signal" right now im running in safe mode fine but id hate to have to do a physical format if i dont have to. Does anyone know what this could be and how i can fix it? maybe what i could narrow down the problem too? a bad boot file or something. i noticed it after i was trying to run Syndicate Wars in compatiblity mode and set "disable windows themes" and the game still wouldnt work. when i restarted, the problem came to. HELP PLEASE.

Maybe there's something wrong with the video drivers? You should go to safe mode, uninstall the ati drivers, run driver cleaner, and then reinstall.

This is a knowm issue with more and more Viewsonic 20" WS panels. I was in the market for one and read the post that I linked and searched deeper, finding this was a far too common bug with that model of LCD. Mind you, I haven't crossed it off the list, but its pretty damn disconcerting when you just lose your image right in the middle of doing something !
