Okay...I've read many a faq and articles but I still confused
HD is 40 gig say and partitioned thusly:
5 gig for OS
25 for apps/games
10 for download purposes
I guess these "drives" are now independent of each other. I don't see how. All the "drives" are on the same physical drive. How can fragmentation occur separately across the "drives"?
If this is something as simple as the drive head goes sequentially(or whatever the seek pattern is) till it hits the "end" of the "drive" I'm going to kick myself.
