All of a sudden, Photoshop decided to get 49304398 times slower when doing text operations. I believe there must be a font problem, but I can't figure out what. Restarting and rebooting doesn't help btw, and I've tried "repairing the font folder" with TweakUI, no change. I checked the font folder and nothing seems abnormal.
I'm not sure, but I think I saw the list of fonts appear three times when Photoshop loads (it lists what it's loading, fonts, plugins, etc).
EDIT: ok, I've tried fixing things, and now I can't get into Photoshop at all. It just keeps on scanning the fonts until it gets to ITC zapf dingbats and starts over. So now I've deleted all of my fonts (except the one windowns wouldn't let me delete, so I only have left:
Marlett
Microsoft Sans Serif Regular
Modern
MS Sans Serif 8,10,12,14..
Script
Tahoma
Tahoma Bold
Verdana
Anyone knows how to solve that? Please help, I really need my photoshop!!!
EDIT2: for anyone that might have the same problem, I overwrote those fonts with my friend's copy. In order to do that, you have to open a DOS prompt and copy them from there, or else Windows won't let you overwrite them. One reboot and everything was ok again.
EDIT3: DAMN!!! after my reboot Photoshop is dog slow again (but at least it loads). It goes three times through my fonts...COME ON GUYS I NEED YOUR BRAIN POWAH!!!!!!!
