help ! tyan mobo composition

hi ev'ry body
i need to work under the dual processor

i suggest to use the tyan motherboard
and 3dlabs oxygen vga card

does anybody has an experience in workstation ! :beer:Text

Please tell us a little about what you will be using this computer for? Tyan motherboards are usually very good and reliable. Tyan dual processor motherboards though are more geared towards the high-end workstation and server market. Your situation might call for a different dual motherboard with other available options.

first:
i use work for graphicdesign (corel,photoshop) for advertising,
second:
i use for 3d rendering ( 3dstudio,autocad,etc) and kind of animation
Third:
last but not least for gaming

so with the limited budget, what the configuration that i will build !

i think the VGA card should be powerfull ( pci oxygen VX1 ? or agp or other )
the memory should be at least 1gb ?
or anything else ?

I don't know much about the Oxygen VX1 cards, but I don't think they are very useful for 3D modeling. I think they do work superbly when working on 2D stuff. Any gaming and you'll need an AGP video card. PCI just doesn't have the memory bandwidth required for today fast action games.

1GB of memory sounds like a good plan. Your graphic design and modeling will love that much memory. The more memory, the better for those applications.

If you have a limited budget, a dual processor solution might not be the best solution. A dual processor capable motherboard usually costs 2x as much as a single processor motherboard AND you still have to buy the second processor. If you feel you have to go dual and your budget is limited you should probably begin researching dual AMD processor motherboards. They are a lot cheaper and Intel's dual Xeon motherboards.
