128Meg Corsair PC 150 ( Yes, I know I need more, it has been ordered)
Pioneer 16X DVD
Hercules GeForce 2 GTS
And this is connected to my Sony Wega TV thru a Monster SVideo cable.
Now, the original Ibm drive was a 30 gig and was recently returned for RMA.
Before the drive was removed due to bad sectors, the OS was Win Me and I never had one problem from the OS.
The TV out was crystal clear while Windows Mil was installed. Now I have a larger HD and with Windows XP and all of the Windows updates installed.
The latest VIA 4 in 1 driver (4.36) and the NVidia 23.11 driver installed.
The Picture Quality really has gone down the crapper since the Win XP installation. There are Horizontal line that shoot out of objects on the screen when the Screen is maximized using the latest XP drivers for PowerDVD. Same problem with WinDVD. It appeers to be some type of driver problem dealing with the TV out control, but which one?
Any recomendations?
