I need some real help here... at the beginning everything worked fine, but then suddenly the TNT2 decided to fail on me and didn't want to display anything in windows. I tried all sorts of drivers - 28.90, 29.30, 41.03 - and it just won't work! I'll post my specs here and the IRQ's... please help!

Asus P4S533
PIV 1600a@2300mhz
ATI Radeon 8500le biosed to 9100 @ 285/285
SB Audigy
Inno3d TNT2 M64 PCI

IRQ 20 SiS 7001 PCI to USB Open Host Controller OK

The tnt2 is disabled but it uses IRQ 16... anyone help?

Took my R8500 to 9100 and couldn't use dual monitors on it, so I went back to the orig. bios.

There is no advantage to the 9100 setup that I could discern, so why bother?

In short, go back to 8500 bios, scrap the TNT, get a DVI-to-VGA adapter.

Yeah, but I forgot to say... my Radeon is a 8500le... which means it doesn't have a second ramdac and can't do dual to two crts...
Is there a chance that I can't use two cards from two different companies?

Are you sure your le doesn't support dualies? Some do, some don't I realise.

ATI cards do play nicer with other ATIs, from what I gather.

What happens on boot? Is the second monitor activated in Control Panel->Display->Settings->Advanced->Displays?

Problem most likely is the TNT2 card. Most of those NVidia chip based PCI cards don't play nice with other VGAs.

Oh, and forget about the idea of shared IRQs being a problem. They aren't.
