Hi folks!!

I'm having trouble using my RICOH MP 9120 CD-RW/DVD Burner ever since I installed an Ethernet Adaptor (D-Link DFE-538TX PCI card). Now the Burner won't recognize any blank or CD-RW media (it still reads CDs and DVDs fine though), or when it recognizes the blank CD NERO BURNING ROM reports the following error message "MEDIA SPEED ERROR DETECTED".

I have an ASUS A7V133 MoBo with the latest BIOS (1005 Final) paired with an 250W ATX power source..check how my setup were before/after the NIC Card
Before After

AGP Radeon 64 Mb ViVo <same>
PCI1 ----- ------
PCI2 ----- SoundBlaster Live! Value
PCI3 SoundBlaster Live! Value NIC Card
PCI4 ----- -----
PCI5 ----- -----
COM1 Enabled Enabled
COM2 Enabled Disabled
HDD Primary Master (IDE) <same>
CD Burner Primary Slave (IDE) <same>
CD-ROM Secondary Master (IDE) <same>
Promise RAID ----- -----

Before installing the NIC card all the things worked fine, I could burn CDs at 12x without a glitch!! I've noticed that PCI2 shares the IRQ with the Promise RAID controller, don't know if it's got something to do with this problem

Also, once I had the very same problem but it happened when I hooked up my HDD to the Promise Controller, the CD-ROM as Primary Master and the CD Burner as the Secondary Master (Both IDE)

Maybe it's my power source that hasn't enough power to drive all the gadgets (especially at CD burning which i think needs more power than reading CDs/DVDs)

Please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for your time

Another thing:

I just noticed that my +5V power line is currently at +4.757V. Can this be the source of my troubles???

Thanks!!
