Help!! Trouble with OC'in!

Well, first off it's my cousin is haveing the problem so im not sure of the exact specs but heres what I know.
1333Mhz Amd Athlon
Soyo Motherboard (not sure of model)
20gig maxtor HD
gf2 ultra video card
Win 98 SE
thats really all I know but I think he has onboard sound so no trouble with a soundcard.
Anyway so here is it...he was oc'in his athlon then when he got to 155mhz FSB his pc would not post at all, nothing on the screen or anything the light on it just stays orange instead of green but the pc did run and no signs of overheating. Normally I would be able to help him, but I have never had this happen to any of my OC'ed systems. I have always at least made it to the bios with my systems, but don't know what to do here. I was thinking maybe he could boot with an emergency startup disk, but he just got his computer and didn't make one. So, im in like need of help here since we don't know how to get into the bios with it not posting. I am sure there is a simple way it's just im pretty new to this so looking for help from you guys 🙂.

tell him to pull out the manual and reset the jumper that sets 100-133 FSB, back to 100 then OC back up to a safer level maybe 140-150.

Or if he set the bus speed in bios to reset the bios. Most newer mobo's have a bios safe-mode to where-if they don't boot with the current bios settings they will reset themselves on the next boot. It is quite possible he fried something though, but I would try to reset bios and see what happens. What voltage did he have it at and what fan does he have running on this?

from my experiance if you cooked a CPU it will not power up at all. So youre safe there, the only things i can think of that will give a no post is a bios that wont reset, (try clearing the bios with the cmos jumper), or a fried video card, a fried video card will usually give you a beep code though, so thats probably not a possibility either, if its ram limiting you again you will most likely get a beep code from the motherboard indicating some kind of ram error.
(i reccomend trying these in order)
1. Try to reset the cmos.
2. Reseat everything in the system thats easy.
3. Check the CPU for burn marks.
4. contact the manufacturer on where to get a new bios chip, usually its a $20 repair. Do this as a last resort, as it still may not fix the problem.

Thanks guys I am gonna go over his house later today and see if I can fix it. I'll let you guys know how everything goes.

**UPDATE**
Well, all is well 🙂. It was pretty simple to do and thanks guys for all your help. I put a password up though so my crazy cousin (10yr old) can't get into the bios anymore 😉.
