I was trying to watch a divx on my friend's tv with the s-video out feature of my graphics card. When we plugged in the cable, started up the computer, and turned on the tv, all that came up was a grey screen that kept flickering vertically. Any idea of what could be wrong???? Any help or suggestions is appriciated.

Is your desktop resolution set too high? My graphic card requires that you have your desktop resolution set to 800x600(or less) @60hz refresh rate for the tv-out to work.

Different video cards, different drivers have different effects. My tvout on my geforce was totally different then my 8500. And if you are using winxp with default drivers then this could be what is wrong.

Are you using MSI's drivers? My Tv-out doesn't work on my MSI GF3 Ti200 unless I use MSI's drivers. I'm currently using the beta 22.50 drivers with no problems. Also, make sure you select your country (USA/Canada/etc) from the dropdown menu, because the proper NTSC format is not the default for some reason.

Hope this helps.
