help to pick a 890gx mb

Hi guys.
I want to buy the AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Processor so i im thinking about the these three mother boards
- Asus M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 890GX
- Gigabyte Socket AM3/AMD 890GX/SATA 3.0 GA-890GPA-UD3H
- MSI AM3 USB 3.0 + SATA 6Gb/s 890GX Chipset 890GXM-G65

So which mb do you recommend? any other brand/model is welcome

Im also going to buy Corsair XMS3 8 GB 1333 MHz PC3-10666 240-Pin DDR3 Memory Kit CMX8GX3M2A1333C9 for memory

PD. Im choosing 890GX over 890FX because im not building a dual video card system.

Also if you can write some ideas about my build it will be great such as which PSU, case etc.
 
With Bulldozer coming out in a months time (hopefully) this is the worst possible time to get a Phenom II X6 based rig. If you're patient enough to wait till 19th September for the launch of BD, you can get a 4/6/8 core BD + 990FX board with AM3+ socket.
 
There is a reason you are seeing all of these discounts on the CPU + 890FX motherboards right now.

I would seriously wait another month like DMA0991 says, and see how the new AMD FX Bulldozer CPU's pan out.

Besides, if you don't you could still purchase an AM3 Phenom ][ X6 CPU and put it in a 990GX AM3+ board which will allow you to upgrade later in the future.

Its a good idea but i rather save a couple of dollars, since i dont expect an update for a long time after my purchase.
 
If that is the case then it is a whole lot better option to grab yourself a Core i5 2500K with a Z68 board preferably those with PCIE 3.0 support. AMD's current offerings are not competitive enough and hopefully BD might narrow the performance gap between AMD and Intel.

As for the PSU you can get a 500-700W unit depending on the single GPU that you're buying. Recommended brands are Corsair, XFX, Silverstone, Seasonic and Antec. Casing is personal preference but I guarantee that you cannot go wrong with any cases from Corsair.
 
I'd skip the 890 boards and get a 990 of some flavor, even if you don't plan on going BD, the newer chipsets will have tweaks.
 
I opted for the Asrock 890FX Deluxe 5, that I'll drop a X6 1090T in. The chipset offers no integrated graphics, and I use a single card graphica anyway. The price was right ($175) and it should let me do what I want with overclocking on air. The day may come when I'll put a BD in it, but for now it's a sufficent upgrade from what I'm running.

I like the idea of a 990 chipset, but right now my budget is $100-$150 for a mb

Well doing a little research the core i5 2500K seems to be a much better option. Which mb would you recommend?
