HELP..... Think I killed it!!!

I was having some boot problems with my puter. I just installed a Promise UltraATA 100 controller inmy CUSL2 board. The system wouldn't boot, froze on the scanning screen for the Promise card. So i removed the card and downloaded the latest BIOS file for my MB. Rebooted, flashed successfully, and went to reboot again --- nothing! The system turns on, but the monitor is black, no beep after indicating the system is initialized, no floppy check - nada! Any ideas? I tried clearing CMOS, nothing. I tried removing all of the cards, nothing. What do I do now?

Does it continue to boot after you turn it on?

Try plugging your VGA cable into the VGA port on the motherboard (CUSL2 have built in VGA where COM2 port would be). It may have defaulted back. Otherwise, remove all cards except your VGA and see if it will boot
