Hi everyone, I am planning to build my self a pc in the next few weeks and I need a little help. Here is what i have chosen out so far,
Athlon 3800+ AM2
NZXT Trinty case
OCZ 1gb 667mhz ram
Enermax Liberty 500wt psu
seagate 250gb harddrive
Artic Silver 5 thermal paste
2- 120mm fans
x1900xt 256mb or 7900gt oc
My questions are about the montherboard, I was looking at the Asus M2N E but I have read about bios and memory problems, is this true. Also what are good boards in that price range.
My second question is with the harddrive. I know Sata 2 is much faster than ide but i have read that windows will not reconize a sata drive and you need to install drivers but if someone could be helpful enough and tell me exactly what they mean I have to do.
I am looking to spend no more than ruffly $1000can and could someone please help me, thank you in advance.
