I have DFI lanparty UT nF4 Ultra-D motherboard. I recently updated my bios and installed opteron 165. After I installed the processor I checked the temperatures for my motherboard, chipset etc... here's the problem. According to everest and speed fan, my motherboard temperature is around 46C idle my chipset is around 50-52C idle and my processor is around 48C idle.
What's going on with my computer????

You are probably ok. I've never believed the claim of low temps for most folks. In 14 years of building systems, I've never seen an idle temp below 40c. In winter, expect lower temps. For summer, use the a/c.

when I turn my computer off and touch the chipset heatsink its really hot though. Does the temperature go up if you switch to dual core?
