Want to help TeAm AnandTech and earn a little $$$Money$$$ for your computer?s spare CPU cycles?

SETI ? CLASSIC is winding down and your SETI TeAm is desperately trying to hold on to its 5th place World Ranking. I am asking for your help. Even if you think SETI is a waste of time I?d like to enlist your support just so we can beat Broadband Reports, a competing SETI Team who has vowed to STOMP TEAM ANANDTECH in the dirt!

As a little incentive I?m offering a penny @ WU. I know that is not much and your computer is probably using more electricity than that but SETI can be set to run at the lowest priority and you will never know it?s there. Run your computer whenever you want and the little Seti Screen Saver program will crunch away in the background.

What do you have to do?

I've been doing this and getting a little $$$. Not a lot, but better than just having my comps waste idle cpu cycles for nothing. I've been in it since May of last year. If you have a few comps to spare, it can add up. 😀

Do it for the team, not the $. You're losing far too much money on electricity by keeping it running, but for the team, it's all good.

Yes, two completely separate scoring methods. There will time aplenty for BOINC but SETI-CLASSIC will soon be over for good. It would be nice to have the TeAm forever ensconced at the top of the world rankings for the 1st SETI project to be run by individual computer owners.

"The Enterprise - TeAm AnandTech" will be helping out other projects once Seti-Classic ends but we would like to finish in a blaze of glory. BOINC will eventually be much more than SETI, encompassing all of the DC PROJECTS, including medical sciences, mathematics, weather, etc.

There may only be a month or two left of Seti Classic ... let's finish it in style.
