I have two computers on a network. One with a USB DSL modem. I tried to get the other computer to be able to use the DSL line through the network but the TCP/IP is all screwed up on the other comp. I can ping and recieve the ping from the host, but when I try to ping the host from the client, it gives an error message. Help.

How exactly is your TCP/IP configured on both PCs? Follow the instructions on HomePCLAN to see if you have your network properly configured...

Follow the instructions on HomePCLAN

Good idea. After you check out the HomePCLAN try out 8wire.com....I'm sure you'll find good answers over there, it's a networking mecca.

Too many problems with a usb dsl modem or any modem for that matter. Ask them for an ethernet modem.
