Help-Sudden hard freeze every 8-10 days?

I have Windows 7 x64 and since January every 8-10 days after 5 to 10 minutes using my system, it just hard freezes (display, mouse, keyboard, everything frozen). I have tested the RAM and it is error free, I am not OCing. I have looked at Event Manager and all it says is that the system rebooted, of course, I restarted it. It does this once and it is fine until 8-10 days later. I don't know what is going on. Not even sure if it is hardware or software related.

This happened to my linux file server, turned out to be the video card drivers, i know that might not help you much but its something to try.

It isn't updating when it freezes, but who knows with the many windows updates and what they might be doing. I am keeping a list of dates it happens. I have a laptop with same OS and it doesn't happen on it. So maybe it is hardware specific. Maybe I will try updating video drivers. I think I am using Cat 9.9.

The few crashes I have gotten in Windows 7 have all been USB related.

My first few bluescreens with it were all when trying to use the scanner on my ESP9 connected thru USB before changing it to be on the LAN.

Also got 1 when accidentally flipping off the power to a USB hub.

And was getting freezes for awhile, especially in Civilization for some reason, after switching my wireless keyboard & mouse between my laptop & desktop using a USB KVM. Manually moving the cord from one to the other is working far more reliably.

Either Win7 x64 USB handling or the USB drivers in the Intel X58 chipset are very finicky.

My system froze on 2/27 and just froze yesterday on 3/8. However, it froze after being on for 4 hours. This time there was Firefox and Arcsoft TV App open. If it was overheating it would do it more frequently and during times I am video encoding. The RAM is good, but I have to check the hard drive, but WD diagnostics would not boot using CD and windows version isn't detecting the physical drive so I can't click on it.
