Help! Sudden Garbled sounds!

Well, suddenly yesterday, after installing star wars battlefront, my battlefield 1942 is getting garbled sounds.....like I said, my speakers sound like they are under water. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

take them out of the goldfish bowl, and tell your fish that if they do that again, they are cat food
