Help: strange OC problem with Soyo 6IZA, 100fsb in BIOS but 66fsb at POST.

Been having some trouble getting this 6IZA mobo to stick to the 100MHz fsb. There is a jumper on the board to be set for 66 or 100 fsb. Setting it on 66 enables the selection of 66, 75, 83. While Setting it on 100 enables 100 and above.

Now I intend to oc it at 100MHz, so I set the jumper at the 100 poisition. I went into the Soyo combo menu and verified that the bus speed is indeed at 100, then saved to CMOS and reset. The system never boots at 100Mhz though, it always goes back to 66MHz, despite the fact that 100Mhz is the selected bus speed..

any ideas?? I checked for Bios revisions and it seems as if there is none that's newer than what's on the system..
