HELP: strange dead/shimmering Pixels on LCD

Just got the DELL 1905fp 19" and hooked it up by DVI to the Geforce6800. It looks great and im using it in a conjunction w/ a samsung analog lcd screen.

The problem is whenever i switch to dualview or clone, i get what looks like shimmering/dead pixel patterns on my DELL screen. Theres many of these pixels (upwards of 10-50 depending on whats on screen) The effect only appears on this mode. The pattern seems to follow open windows when i move it around. The analog samsung screen looks fine.

Ive checked for dead pixels on this screen in many different colour backgrounds(when on single mode) and there were none, so i cant be the screen. I suspect the video card or vid drivers. Any ideas?

I find the problem disappears when using analog input (plugged into a dvi > vga adapter)

Also the problem also disappears when i have the geforce set on single display mode. This makes me think it is not a problem relating to a cable or connection problem. More likely a video card or drivers problem. What do u guys think?
