Help: Sony Vaio laptop software

Can you help?

I have a Sony Vaio laptop R600 which is is called the R505 or so in the states.

I have lost the software for touch pad. It had special functions for the touch pad. I have the recovery cd's and have searched and I can not find it 🙁. I don't even know what its called. I find drivers for the touch pad but I need the software with the special apps for it.

The application if you have a Sony Vaio is the one where if you press the "top left hand corner" you have a few options come up on screen. If you then go down with your finger you minise the window selected. If you go diagonally to the bottom right you then close off the window.

Do you know what it is called so I can find it?

Thanks, Koing

Installed my Intellimouse optical wireless to it and installed the software and the touch pad software went 🙁 Now can't get it back 🙁

I want my *Mouse Properties* to look like this:

Here, scroll down just a bit

Then I would have the extra features that I would need.

Anyone know the EXACT software or driver/utlity that I would need to install to get this?

Thanks

you can search the sony site~
they havea support site with all the drivers and such~

Here

that's for the R505 models and such

and you should be able to just unplug the external mouse and your touch pad should work

maybe it's disabled ?
Try enabling it

thanks for trying.

It does work I just want the touch pad software that I use to have on it. I was just wondering if someone else here knew what it was called or something like that. As then I could search for it better.

I already have all the drivers on the 3 recovery cd's that came with it. I just want the software that meant I could close off application with the touch pad and instead of having to click the *x* in the corner.

Again thanks for trying.

for anyone with a *R600*

The site I doesn't have it. It has the R505. Later on during the process of downloading it says that only the EXACT model may be d/l.

I d/l a few and they didn't work. They check for the model and if it doesn't match it won't install🙁
