About the "mess of 6800s" you mentioned. You seem to do a good job keeping up with ATI cards. They both generally do the same thing when it comes to names.

x800 x800xl x800xt
6800 6800gt 6800ultra

The rest mentioned can be eaisly looked up. As you stated above and as the article you posted would indicated you have the ability to look stuff up. By looking up some of your older post myself you seem know more about VCs than you let on at first. Also from your tone you dont seem very fond of Nvidia or at least the 6800 series. Im not sure what all of this means.....can some one tell me?

I have no problems with nvidia, I just feel that thier naming scheme is about as confusing as AMD's. I am not a fanboy of either company and have owned products made by both of them. AMD is going to be my next CPU and (waiting on ATI to decide) my next GPU could be from nVidia. I just find it easier to keep track of ATI's product line the same way I find intel's produt line easier to decipher. (Next CPU is 4400+ 90nm Toledo)

Quick what clock speed and cache on a P4 640? Intel's product line is NOT easy to decipher at all, at least not anymore.

Confusing?

6600 GT < 6800 < 6800GT < 6800 ULTRA

There may be some retardation involved here...

What are pipe lines.

Whats memory.

What are mhz.

Stop being dumb.

I just searched the forums, using your name and the parameters of nvidia. Several TOPICS came up with your name attached to nVIDIA. You are oh-so-not-funny😱

what are you talking about.

That is an awesome chart! I was looking for something that would directly compaire a 9700 pro with the latest avalable. I was thinking the x700 was about the same, but it only has 11.2-16.8GB/s bandwith on 128bit and 9700pro has 19.8 on 256bit. Big differance, the 9700 is clearly superior. 3 years old and the 9700 pro still kicks A$$! And at $399 it was a bargain by todays standards for a high end card. These graphics makers have gotten out of hand with their pricing.
