I just got a new case and I moved all my components into the new one and upon turning my computer on, everything works fine except that my audio has become a mute. I've tried onboard and the sound card listed in my sig. Tried reformatting and uninstalling and installing drivers and that doesnt work. If you guys can help me out here, that'd be really great. Thanks. I'm fresh out of ideas.

Did you try the rear onboard sound or the front panel audio? Becuase you might have not hooked up the front properly.

I would go on down the audio chain and check each link.

Is there a yellow exclaimation point next to the sound card in the System Manager?
Is the volume turned up and not muted in the Windows "Play Control" window?
Is the volume turned up and not muted in your software application?
Try a different pair of speakers or try headphones to make sure there isn't a problem with the speakers or cables.

These may seem like obvious troubleshooting steps but check them out. Usually the problem is something obvious that you overlooked.

Mark.

Did you try it in different different PCI slots?
If so, sounds like you have a bad SC. Not really anything else left that could be the problem.
