HELP ! SLOT SPEEDS TOO HIGH AT 133MHZ BUS

I've got the Asus A7V133 (KT133A chipset) mobo. When I set my CPU and external bus speed
to 133 in the bios SANDRA shows the AGP at 90Mhz and the PCI at 45Mhz with 1/3x multiplier.
I was expexting a 1/4x multiplier on the PCI and 1/2x on the AGP.

Anyone know what speed to set the bus on this board to get 1/4x on PCI and 1/2x on the AGP?

SANDRA is known for giving incorrect results with regards to PCI and AGP bus speeds, particularly on ASUS boards. Your ASUS A7V133 automatically uses the 1/2 AGP and 1/4 PCI dividers at 133MHz FSB.

Make sure that you have made your FSB settings through the BIOS and not the dipswitches though.

Thanks for the info. Yea, I'm using the BIOS - got the dipswitches and jumpers set to Jumperfree mode. I didn't know it made any difference. Can I cause problems using the dipswitches on the board?

With the dipswitches, there is a setting that does not use the 1/4 PCI divider at 133MHz FSB. There are 2 settings for 133MHz FSB using the dipswitches....one using 1/4 and the other using 1/3. The BIOS does not have 2 options.
