Hi. I'm trying to setup two w2k machines to be able to use one internet account, with the built in ics. My connections are as follows:

cable modem
|<----(usb linksys)
|
Comp1----(nic)----switch---(nic)---Comp2

Now, do I check the ics box on Copm1 for the cable modem or the nic?
And do I have to have autoIP on comp2?
What about comp1?
These computers are on a "home" workgroup so they can see and share files. and also LAN for games.
Comp1 has zonealarm, but I have already set the nic on comp1 to the "trusted" zone, and the firewall is disabled for the nic on comp1. (the firewall is however enabled for the "internet" zone on comp1, the usb linksys cable modem).
They can both see and access each other with no problem, but...I cannot get the internet to work on comp2. The internet does work on comp1, however.
I hope you can understand what I am saying, if anyone can help me with this, thanks a bunch. Oh, if you need more info, lemme know.
Thanks once again.

ICS box, if I remember correctly, in that situation should be checked on the modem connection itself (even though you would think it would make more sense to have it on the device that would be doing the sharing).

And from the guides I have read, you will want auto IP on all computers.
