Hey All,

I am having troubles setting up RAID. all the jumpers are setup, i setup the Promise Raid bios. but when i try and boot from CD (with XP) it starts the proccess then comes up with an error "unable to locate any drives" can anyone help?

thanx

Did it come with Promise Raid drivers disk and did you install them using F6 at the beginning of the install? Is your bios set to boot from the Raid controller?

You may want to try over
Here at the ASUS forums

It will generally come with your motherboard on a separate floppy disk. Try the forums link I sent you for many ASUS concerns.

You need to create the array first by entereing the promise controller bios. I used these drivers and extracted to a 1.44 floppy. Hit F6 when setup prompts you too at the very beginning of the XP install, then you will be prompted to hit S to define mass storage, and you can insert the floppy you just created with the raid drivers.
