Help setting up MCE remote

QueBert

Lifer
I have an HP something or other 9300 MCE remote and a Veris iMon IR receiver. Apparently it's not supported in Eventghost. The remote does work with iMon Manager, but there are a few buttons it doesn't pick up and the program has has no IR learning function. I don't care if it costs $ I'm just looking for a program that has some sort of IR learning feature so I can use all the buttons on the remote.

gonna bump this hoping somebody knows of a program where I can get the IR codes so I can put them in my XBMC keyboard.xml to use all the buttons.

For anyone looking for a small'ish HTPC remote that has plenty of buttons this one's really really awesome. Feels great in my hand, really solidly built and it looks uber nice IMHO.

pic of it's towards the bottom of the page. Only thing it's missing is backlit keys. I found it for $20 shipped on Ebay.

do you have an iphone or an android? look up the xbmc remote apps. the iphone one is awesome and the android one is coming along nicely as well.

I use to use my iPhone as a remote and loved it, but I've since ditched my wireless router so that's no longer an option. I found a proggy that reads and displays IR codes, it works for about 80% of the buttons but for the others nothing is coming up. So I'm still stuck trying to figure out how to get the hex for them so I can map them.

it seems a cheap wireless router would solve all your problems? that's the route i'd go anyway...you can find em for 10 bucks nowadays.
