Help setting up Linksys Wireless USB network adapter

I have an 802.11g wireless router (http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?grid=33&scid=35&prid=601) and I just bought a USB network adapter. I can't get it to work. The problem I get is identical to this knowledgebase article, the adapter recognizes the network, but can't access the Internet. The stupid article only says to set up WEP. I've done that. Still doesn't work.

There is no problem with the router, because I can access the internet with my notebook computer.

The computer is a desktop with Win98SE, so I can't use the EasyConnect software.

Any suggestions?

open up a command prompt and type "route print". Paste it here and I will show you how to read it.

edit:

also, are you able to hit the router's management page/port/interface?

I'm actually having the same problem. I have a linksys router, I can get associated signal strength but can't connect to the router. My roomates computer isn't having any problems and I tested the card on his comp and it was working fine. Here is the routing table:
