Help setting up 6600 GT

My 9800 pro died, and although it is under warrantee, I can't be without a computer during the RMA process. So I just purchased a XFX 6600 GT for $155 AR.

What are your suggestions for driver version, OC utility, and any other safe tweaks to consider with this card?

You can download the most recent Drivers @ Nvidia.com . I'm sure that the OC utilities is already included w/ the driver, you just have to find it. If not, you can download riva tuner (google it, and you'll find it). That's pretty much it, beware of OC though..that's all I can say

Get the 77.72 drivers from nvidia. I have a 6600gt and they work the best. AND DONT OC IT!

Hmm, I bet you'll get an X800XT back for your 9800Pro. I'm pretty sure that's how ATI RMAs work.

But anyway, just get the latest Forceware (I use 77.72) and don't overclock it yet, you don't need to.
