I have a p2 350 doing Seti when I should be getting WU done in 12 hrs or so it takes my comp 30 to 40 hrs this is even when I ctrl alt del everything out of windows and just run the seti client by itself.

also I am running the latest client.

what gives???
 
Like Hellburner said, make sure your screensaver is set to go blank screen and 0 minutes. If the GUI client is displaying it will at least double your WU time.

With a PII 350 with CAS2 RAM you should get WU times of about 10.5hrs(with little else running) on the GUI v2.04 with 1 min blank screen.

I am going to run the test tonight kill all the apps and see what I get. hopefully this will fix the problem. 🙂
