Help serious issues with linksys router

It lags very badly when it comes to loading web pages, including the router own diagnostic/setup page which takes atleast 5 mintues to load. The problem is temporary fixed by doing a full reset on the router, but returns a few hours later. What could be the problem.
 
sounds like you have a WRT54G V5 or so...either way they are crap.

I have the V5 and I just flashed on DD-WRT and my router works perfectly now. No more slow downs, or loading issues.
