Help, SB Audigy problem

I got an Epox 8KHA+ with the onboard audio thingy. After I installed the Audigy and all of its softwares and updates, I can't get voice recording to work on games/voice apps. When I tried to run the hardware testing, it says, "your sound hardware cannot play sounds." In the sound settings, it shows that it's using SB Audigy Audio [D400]. I've disabled the AC 97 Audio Controller and nothing else. There are still some default audio codecs and some other stuff that were there before I installed Audigy. Anyone know what's going on?

I assume you're using XP as I get the same message even though the card works perfectly!
