Help: saving game on my Wii

I just bought GT Pro series for wii but I cant save any game data. It always says "cannot find game data" when I tried to save it. This is annoying as I have to start from very beginning as a novice every time I play it and cannot unlock the hidden cars and tracks...

I asked Ubisoft but they dont seem to have the answer...

Any idea how to solve the problem? Do I need a SD card? Thanks a lot!!

Is the internal storage full ? Probably not, but just a thought.

I guess the internal memory on the wii is OK.

I can still play other games and save progress on the console...

silly question, have you created a save file first? Maybe the coder was an idiot and did not put that check in on the save part.

There used to be one when I checked the data mgmt section of Wii but I cannot save anything...

So I deleted that one and tried to create a new one. But the game does not ask me to create a new file...I cant find any option in the game to create a new file...

Please help!!!!
