HELP: Sandisk USB CF Reader acting Weird!!!

I dunno where to post, so I post another one in General Hardware.
Any idea? Is this the right forum?

I have Sandisk USB CF Reader (no eject button). Used to work fine until I format my comp, now doesn't work properly.

I used W2K and had downloaded the update from Sandisk website. I am using Linksys USB Proconnect (USB Hub) and plug-in my
Mouse, Palm connector and Sandisk CF Reader (CFR)

For somereason, if CFR connected, mouse won't work. There is a msg: unsafe removal USB devices (something like that).
It worked once in awhile though.

Please advice...

Doesn't matter if it does not eject from the san disk. Right click on it in My Computer and select Eject from the menu. Wait a second or two and just pull out the disk. How I do it all the time with no problems.
