HELP! Ricoh 3900 NF fax machine problem.

I have a Ricoh fax machine with dual paper trays, but I can't get the bottom one to work. I can't find the manual either. There is a smal piece labeled PS2, but I can't figure out where it goes and I know it is probably the fix I need!!!

Any help would be appreciated!
