Help RH7.2 & i845 Asus mobo

I just recently got the following:

Asus P4b (i845) w/ 1 gig of pc133
Intel P4 1.7ghz
Adaptec 29160n
36g Atlas 10k2 & 36g 10k3
Intel Pro100b nic
Creative Audigy

I know the Audigy is not supported. I get a boot error when trying to install from the RH7.2 cd.

I read that there is support for the 845 chipset in 2.4.13-ac7 & 2.4.14 & 2.4.15 pre4 .

Which kernel should I use & how do I install when I cannot even boot the current rh7.2 install cd ?

Can I remove my boot scsi hd and put it in another computer (Asus Cubx mobo) ?

I could install w/ this cubx mobo then down load one of the newer kernels, compile it , then
move my hd back to the P4B (i845) system ??

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Jose

You should be able to do the install on the other machine and then throw it over to the new machine without many problems.
