I wanted to Rastabate an image I have however I can't get the dimensions right.

The picture I am trying to use is below
Original Picture

I want it to fit 5 Sheets Accross and 4 Sheets down like the following.
How its suppose to look

The problem I am having though is when I Rastabate the image, its coming out at 5x5 and the bottom row is not a full page.

Im putting these in 8x10 frames.

Could someone help me so it Rastabates to 5x4 and keep the whole picture like the guys above.

You'll have to crop the bottom/top so the dimensions equal 5x4. Right now they don't. You'll notice that the rastabated image you linked is definitely cropped at the bottom, and possibly a little at the top as well (look at the truck headlight in the original and rastabated images; in the original, the full light is visible, in the rastabated image it is cropped down significantly).

I saw that however it still is about a half a page off even when cropped. He must have cropped and stretched the picture somehow and I dont know how to do that without the picture keeping aspect ratio

Can't help much because I'm at work, but are you using the standalone rasterbator program that's available from the website? I've had much better luck with it than the web based program.

I was using standalone but tried online and seems you can crop andresize. Still not correct though. Can anyone resize the image so its wider

How much do you have on the last page when you set it up? The other guys have part of the picture cut off too.

When I did mine, I think I ended up cropping the picture to fit the pages better.

Is there a good freeware program out there I can use to manually crop the picture and keep a similar resolution of 2000x1351. Want the highest possible for printing

Use Gimp to crop.

Paper 8x10 right?
5 across x 10in = 50
4 down x 8 in = 32
32:50
x:2000
2000/50*36=1280

Open up gimp, crop to 2000x1280, save.

Rasterbator (standalone) settings
Custom paper size (2/5)
width 254
height 204

rasterbation options (4/5)
uncheck draw cutoutline
dot size (up to you, but if you choose 1mm the pdf will be 260mb)
color mode multi-color
