Help removing Kazaa Lite ad blocker

I recently uninstalled Kazaa Lite. However, when I installed Kazaa Lite, some sort of ad blocking software was also installed, but not removed when I uninstalled Kazaa Lite. Normally, I have no problem with blocking ads, however, I suspect that it's preventing me from accessing some stuff that I actually want to see, because I never had these sort of problems pre-Kazaa Lite. For example, when I do a yahoo search, when I click on the next 20 link to view the next 20 results, following message pops up "The connection was refused when attempting to contact rd.yahoo.com." I also got the same sort of message when trying to click through an Officemax online coupon. And the same sort of message popped up when I tried to access a yahoo news article. Does anyone have any solutions?

check you ad-remove programs list. it might be in there. if its not. download Ad-aware from lavasoft it should find it

Already tried it, and it didn't work.

The blocks might be set up in your "HOSTS" file. Remove any yahoo.com references from the file (search for the file HOSTS in your Windows folder).
