Help removing coolermaster HCC-01 HSF, missing lever bar

Hi all.
I've got a Coolermaster HCC-01 heatsink/fan combo that I need to remove. Apparently the lever bar that I would normally depress and pull out to remove it is missing, so I'm having trouble getting the damn thing off. The processor is dead already, so no need to worry about breaking the core. I need to get a new cpu ASAP, so prompt help in finding some way to pull the heatsink off would be appreciated.

THIS ONE?

If you meant HCC-001 this pic gives a pretty clear shot of the lever. If you broke that off some how a couple small screw drivers is about your only option, one to apply pressure down and one to pry the tab off the socket heatsink retainer... just dont break the socket heatsink retainer off.

As I said dont break the motherboard socket, just pry off the spring from the heatsink after applying sufficent pressure on the spring clip to release it from the motherboard socket.
