Help regarding returning goods to Dell

Here's the scenario:

Bought a couple of stuff off Dell. One day later i call back to tel them that I would like to cancel part of the order becoz' of some personal reasons... they say can't cancel my order because it has been shipped out. Right now I am thinking of returning all of them since I don't think I want to suffer the fate of restocking fees or shipping fees...🙁

Which of the following should I do?

1) Should I accept all the stuff and then do a return then?
(according to Dell's website: the total satisfaction policy includes a 15% restocking fee + a shipping fee back to them..)

2) Should i just reject the shipment and let it return to Dell?
(I'm not even sure if Dell would charge me for the fees or not)

Hope someone can help regarding this 😛

Thanks!

dell will charge you the restocking fee. You may want to ebay the stuff. It usually comes out alittle better than a 15% loss.

Thanks for the prompt reply! 😀

So u're saying I should accept all of them and sell them instead?

I'm looking on fleabay and seems like I might lose out on the fees.... but of coz', I've got no one to blame since I bought it initially ...........

But I did talk to a Dell CSR one day after i ordered and he told me to accept it, but gave me a case # to handle it such that I could return (part of) it w/o having to pay the shipping fees or restocking fees... but i only told him i was rejecting part of it........

Oh well 🙂 Thanks for the help anyway. <--- always glad to have some help in AT 😀
