Help! Reformatting

Hello!

Im pretty new to computers and I need help reformatting.

Heres my situation:
Im on Windows XP Profressional.
I would like to delete everything off my 120 GIG HDD, there are 4 partitions, Id like everything deleted off each one of them.
I would like to install Windows 98 SE cleanly onto 1 partion (10gigs) and the rest for my docs/games/appz.

How would I go about doing this, I have no idea how to "reformat"

Thanks for your time.

You need to Fdisk, then Reformat.

Fdisk is a partitioning tool. Reformat sets the file saving type(ie: NTFS or FAT in windows) Windows 98 uses FAT(File Allocation Table) for its file system.

Personally I think you will be making a mistake in reformatting and installing Windows 98, Windows XP is a much stabler, faster, and user friendly operating system.

Google for any problems you are having with Xp and post here also, many here will help you and there is no stupid question.

I would like to know why you want to go back to Windows 98?
