HELP!! Recovering after deleting partition

So I was going to install Windows on a new HD, and when they told me to create a partition, i accidentally deleted the partition on the wrong HD.

But, I didn't reformat over that disc.

So, now it says it has Unpartitioned space... but I haven't put anything else on top of it yet. I haven't formatted the disk.

Is it possible to recover? Can I recreate the partition? and with what software?

sorry, lock...

i forgot to search first.

i'm trying GetDataBack NTFS... i wouldn't mind if there are any other suggestions though.

R-Studio from www.r-tt.com is supposed to be good for stuff like that.

This would be better posted in the Tech Support section as that is the proper section for "It is broke, help me fix it! type posts. And more people visit that section than this one.

I suggest you use Partition Table Doctor to resolve your
problem. The software provides very useful functions:
Backup partition table, Restore partition table, Rebuild
partition table, undelete partition, Fix boot sector,
rebuild mbr,etc.

First thing I recommend you download the demo version of
Partition Table Doctor.( http://www.ptdd.com/download.htm )

Run the program and select "Rebuild Partition Table",
then choose "Interactive" mode.
