Help!: Rebate/Refund Check Problem

So I got this rebate/refund check from Norelco via their 90 day trial thing. THe only problem is they put "Edwin" instead of "Edward" on my check (even though I CLEARLY printed it out). So what can I do? Should I even bother sending it back? (I'm moving out of my apt at the end of June so I don't know how long it takes them to process) or will my bank accept it as "close enough"?

Well, a lot of times your address is printed on there, so its worth a shot...

Edit: If anything, just endorse it "Ed" 🙂

Sign it normally then AKA (also known as) under your real name then the way they spelled it.
Shouldn't be a problem.
I get Alex , Alan, Albert when people refer to me as "Al"commonly.

hm...so I should sign it "Edward Last name" and then put aka "Edwin"? and then deposit it in the ATM (what I normally do anyways?)

I had my last name spelled incorrectly once; Dad instead of Dao. Of course, the rebate check never even got to me, so I had to call up and complain anyway, so they fixed the name on the new check they sent me.

See if you can just get another one sent out.

Include a mugshot too...

Just sign it and throw it in the ATM, if it's obviously to you anyway it doesn't make a difference, worrying about the misspelling or putting aka on their is just a waste of time.

there was a 20/20 or dateline thing on how bank tellers these days dont even care/look at what u signed. They people hosting the show would sign complete opposite names and the tellers just took it. Sometimes they would just write in no sense things, not even names....

My name gets fvcked up all the time on rebates, they especially dont care about your first name, much less your last name. And it does have your address on there. I have never had a problem, stop worrying about it.

Check will be fine, you can deposit it in person if you'd like. Endorse check with name as written on check (incorrect version), underneath sign your name correctly. As example-
