HELP! Radeon 9700 Pro Resolution Problem...

Whenever I put a resolution on a game up to 1600x1200 or something higher than 1152x864, the screen is "cut off". What I mean is it doesn't get the entire portion of the screen and it goes off my screen. It looks like somebody takes a picture in 1024x768 then puts a frame over it that's only 800x600. Does anybody know this problem? I thought it was my monitor so I tried to resize it but that's not it. (The monitor's max resolution is 1600x1200 and had QIII running at the same resolution on my old computer and it looked fine.) This stumps me and if you know the resolution (hehe) lemme know.

Edit: I also have the latest drivers.
 
Sounds like a driver conflict with your monitor's .inf file. Make sure you are using the right .inf file for your monitor. Other than that, I really can't say.
