i just got my new mboard (epox 8k7a), processor (1.33 t-bird OEM) and hsf (coolermaster dp5-6131A)
when i try to put the hsf on, the front part hooks on, but i cant push the back part of the bar down! it starts bending down, but the big 'ol capacitors get in the way. it also looks like it wont bend down far enough

It does require considerable effort to get many of the new HSFs on to your motherboard. I just put one on last Saturday and it was pretty easy with two of us. After hooking the one side of the clip on, I held the HSF on with one hand and had a flathead screwdriver in the other hand hooked into the ridge on the other side of the clip while he took a smaller screwdriver and gently pulled the end of the clip away from the CPU until it went around the hook on the socket.

Be very careful when using a flat head screw drivers. I know quite a few people that gouged their traces in the process of putting on a HSF, and it's a pain to have to repair that.
