Help quick, need to make a graph w/ excel, bnut it wont let me...

Drops: 2, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12

i am trying to get the drops on the X-axis, time on the y-axis. and it has to be a line graph. i can do it with any graph other than a line graph in excel, but when i tried a line graph, there becomes no line. why is this, or do you have a better way for me to do it?
 
Do it as an XY scatter and set each axis through the series tab. Then do a line fit by right clicking on one of the data points.
