help! questions related to my new system

Currently I'm building my new system. Stuffs I've dicided so far are:WD 80g/8m, Antec Plus1080amg Case,
I'm thinking about getting a 1700+ tbred and overclock it when necessary(got slk-800 vantec tornado for that purpose) , I'll use a Ti4200 if I can find a good deal on it,otherwise I'll just go with Gf4 mx440. Now I really don't have any idea about the Mobo and rams. Need your suggestions.
I'll mainly use it as a file server on campus network(small college of 1300 people) , some gaming, some video editing from dv, and a lot net surfing!

P.S. It'll be great if the mobo has both firewire and USb 2.0,even better if it has raid and nic.

hmm maybe a geforce 3 ti XXX would be a better choice for yourself
or even a geforce 2 ti

geforce 4mx isnothing but a slightly upgraded geforce 2mx (which isnt all that for gaming)

however if you dont plan to game too much, as you mentioned it is it be a file server, gf4mx would suffice

maybe get a nforce2 motherboard
it has onboard video equivalent to gf4mx, and even dual channel ddr ram, along with lots of other features

ram, you could get pc2100 and choose whether you want to run in dual channel mode or not
